Dental emergency in Cedar Park?
Same day appointments Monday to Saturday when you call before 2 pm.
(512) 555-0142What counts as a dental emergency
A knocked out tooth, a cracked or broken tooth, an abscess, uncontrolled bleeding after an extraction, or swelling that spreads toward the jaw or neck all warrant a same day visit. Severe swelling with a fever, or any trouble breathing or swallowing, is a hospital matter: call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room first.
For a knocked out permanent tooth, hold it by the crown, rinse it briefly, and store it in milk or saliva; a tooth seen within 60 minutes can often be replanted. For a broken tooth or a lost crown, save the pieces and call us at (512) 555-0142. A cold compress on the cheek in 15 minute intervals helps with swelling while you travel in.
How it works
What happens when you call
-
Phone triage (5 minutes)
The front desk asks what happened and when, then reserves the next open slot. Call before 2 pm, Monday to Saturday, for a same day visit.
-
Exam and X-ray (about 20 minutes)
The doctor examines the area, takes a digital X-ray, and explains what is going on in plain terms, with a written cost estimate before any treatment.
-
Same day relief
We treat the pain at that first visit whenever possible: a temporary filling, a prescription, the first stage of a root canal, or an extraction. Any follow up work is scheduled before you leave.
Cost
Emergency exam pricing
From $95
An emergency exam starts at $95, with a written estimate before any treatment begins. We accept 8 insurance plans including Delta Dental, Cigna, and MetLife, and we file claims the same day.
Emergency visit questions
What if I call after hours?
Leave a message and we call back when the office opens: 8:00 am Monday to Friday, 9:00 am Saturday. For swelling with a fever, or any trouble breathing or swallowing, go to the nearest emergency room instead of waiting for a callback.
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes, during open hours, though callers get priority in the schedule. Calling (512) 555-0142 before you drive over usually shortens your wait.
How do I pay at the visit?
The exam fee is due at the visit; we accept cash and all major cards. If one of our 8 accepted insurance plans covers you, we file the claim the same day and collect only your estimated portion.
